I was wondering if anyone still has a working 5-1/4 disk drive lying around.

It's a sad day... I think we will need to do something on March 2011 to celebrate. I'm surprised they still sell so many. Anyone want to go into business making them? Or at least buying up huge quantities and reselling them on ebay.

I'm surprised that the floppy has lasted this long, I was thinking that they would have stoped making them years ago.

I was surprised by that as well. And even though 12 million probably isn't that many its still more than what I would estimate.

12 million? Who's buying them? And why? I mean... since when didn't a computer had a CD-ROM in it?
